The story of a name that rises

Amjad Institute was founded in Nabatieh under Decree No. 1049 of 24/12/2008 by its Director General, Dr. Hassan Ahmad, and welcomed around 400 students in its first year.

In its second year the institute expanded with a second branch in the Bayad district of Nabatieh, raising enrolment to around 600 students, followed by a third branch in Tyre — Abbassieh, Jal El Bahr. As demand for vocational and academic education grew, enrolment reached close to 1,000 students across all branches in the 2012–2013 academic year.

In 2014 the institute was upgraded to a higher technical institute by Presidential Decree No. 112079. To meet growing educational needs, new branches opened in Beirut (Barakat and Haret Hreik), Saida (Marah Roundabout) and Baalbek (Douris). Enrolment today exceeds 9,000 students, a reflection of the institute’s continued success and the trust it enjoys.

The institute offers a broad range of educational programs including CAP (Certificate of Professional Aptitude), BP (Vocational Complementary Certificate), BT (Technical Baccalaureate), TS (Technical Superior) and LT (Technical License), spanning more than thirty specialisations across different fields and levels, alongside specialised training courses with certificates accredited by the Ministry of Education.

It is the first institute in Lebanon to obtain the ISO 21001-18 certification, reflecting its commitment to high-quality educational services. It also provides continuous hands-on training that prepares students for the job market, delivered by a highly qualified and experienced teaching staff, with opportunities for graduates to join the institute’s own family.

The institute follows up on and supports students living abroad, provides teaching methods adapted to students with special needs, and organises trips and varied activities that develop skills and strengthen team spirit and belonging. It enjoys a high pass rate reaching 100%, and its students have earned first honours nationwide.
